Fall Updates

Fall Greens Fees are in effect!

The Barn is Closed on Mondays until after Christmas.

Greens are not aerated and won’t be before November 10.  It’s still a great time to play golf, why screw it up?

Our leagues are over, but we are still running the birdie pools for all of them and you can still take advantage of the league rates.  (Actually $5 cheaper, but they no longer include a $5 lunch credit or an evening meal.)

Cranberry harvest will continue until Thursday, October 23 at the golf course.  There are a lot of moving parts so I can’t say what we’ll be doing on any given day, but if you come out you may be lucky enough to see us in action.   The golf course will always remain open during harvest, but there may be a tee closed so we don’t put our workers in danger from errant golf balls.

Upcoming Schedule 

Thursday-Friday, December 5-6 – Outdoor Golf Course Closed
Saturday-Sunday, December 7-8 – Southers Marsh Frostbite Tourney 10 AM (full)
Sunday, December 8 – Last day for outdoor golf

We will be closed completely December 24-25.

The pro shop will be open 10-3 Monday-Friday for gift cards and apparel or come when the Barn is open, or you can access our Holiday Sale online too.

Winter Barn League

The Barn League will start Tuesdays and Thursdays on December 3.   (Reservations must be made)
Pricing – $22 per player includes a 2 hour bay rental with unlimited golf balls.  Each week we play a different 9 hole course with full handicaps
Prizes – $5 cash for low net score (new players will need to establish a handicap)  Number of places paid will depend on number of entries
$5 Birdie Pool – (new players can be in the birdie pool only to start)

Until December 23
Monday – Closed
Tuesday-Thursday – 3 PM-8 PM
Friday-Saturday – Noon-8 PM
Sunday – Noon-6 PM

December 23-25 – Closed

Holiday Week
December 26-December 30 – Noon-8 PM
December 31-January 2 – Noon-7 PM

Normal winter hours will start on January 3.

Fall Updates

Cranberry Harvest

It feels like Fall in the air and that means that cranberry harvest will be here soon!  We expect to start harvest the last week of September.  The golf course will remain open and worst case scenario is that a tee might be closed for the safety of our bog workers.  It’s a great time to play golf at Southers Marsh!

No Greens Aeration in September or October

The fall is a great time to play golf and we prefer not to screw it up by aerating our greens until we absolutely have to.

Golf Leagues are Continuing

The last day for golf leagues
Monday League – October 7
Tuesday League – October 8
Women’s League – September 25 (League Banquet – October 2 at 6 PM)
Thursday League – October 10

If you want to continue playing after these dates, please make a tee time each week.  You may continue to play at the same league rate, but we will be running the birdie pools only, no net or quota.
