Southers Marsh Closed Until May 4

The golf course and range are closed until Monday, May 4.  Let’s hope we are able to open then.  Stay tuned to our twitter feed for any updates. Thank you for all your support!

This is a statewide closure of all golf courses in Massachusetts.  If courses in Massachusetts are open they are violating the law.

If you would like to contact your legislator and tell them why you think golf courses should be reopened in Massachusetts, that would be great.

We have seen on social media that courses in Rhode Island and Connecticut who are open are encouraging Massachusetts golfers to travel there to play.  This can’t be the intent of the state.

Golf is an outdoor sport played with up to a maximum of 4 players at a time.  We feel people can hold true to the principles of social distancing and play golf at the same time if the proper precautions are taken.

We are hoping we can offer a small haven with some sense of normalcy in this crazy world.  Please stay safe out there.
